Biography

Venice based photographer Giacomo Cosua was born in Venice during the 1983.
He began photographing his environment while attending Erasmus Program in Germany at Osnabrueck University.
Cosua has lensed photography for his friends and also for himself during his travels.
Developing his own photographic instinct, his photography reflects his deep interest in young cultures.
He mostly works with digital camera, but also with films and with polaroids.

He’s attending at Alma Mater Studiorum University, Science of Communication Dept.
He’s working as a reporter for Espresso S.P.A. / Finegil Editoriale with the newspaper “La Nuova Venezia”.
He’s Guest editor for “Venice is not sinking Magazine” edited by Studio Camuffo, and Editor in Chief for POSI+TIVE MAGAZINE.
During his life he has lived in Spain, Germany, Greece and England.
